A positive TV program, a series of captivating articles, a number of renewing development projects and an interesting network. These are the direct results of one single travel to Bangladesh. Even before the program actually had been broadcasted the first two projects, ‘1We Rickshaws Bangladesh’ and ‘1We Slum Shops’, made a flying start. Two other project concepts, hospitals in rural areas and the 1We Fashion Label, are already in preparation. The country concept of 1We turns out to be a golden formula, which earlier already proved itself in Brazil. 
 
The concept is as follows: a team of 1We visits a development country looking for surprising development projects and inspiring stories and meeting local and national authorities and entrepreneurs. Out of this a whole new network arises which is the start to realize new projects.

TV program
Within the framework of social business we interviewed in Bangladesh for example Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Price Winner 2006, and former top model Bibi Russell who as a fashion designer works with over 35,000 weavers. This results in a complete media marketing package for international exposure. The package exists from a TV program and a series of articles.

Most attention in the TV-program is paid to the countries’ chances and opportunities to trigger companies all over the world to make the difference. The program therefore will be broadcasted in several countries amongst which is Bangladesh itself and The Netherlands and (in preparation) USA, UK and India. By supporting to make this program visible on national television in your country you will be helping us to motivate entrepreneurs to support 1We. By this you are directly helping us to give underprivileged people a chance.

 
Media platform
Several broadcast stations and publishers from different countries are already participating in 1We’s media platform for a better world. To spread the word worldwide we would like to get involved with as many media companies as possible. If you have any media contacts in your network who are willing to broadcast the teaser film or publish one or more of the articles please let us know. We will be able to deliver high standard material ready to be put on air. The TV-program is exactly 30 minutes long plus an extra 2 minutes of commercials about the new projects in Bangladesh. This equals 32 minutes in total.

The country concept incidentally can be rolled out in any development country. In this the teaser film is the most significant element which forms the basis for new development projects. In other words: from awareness leading to action.

Your 'own' shop in the slums

1We would like to give talented youngsters in development countries the opportunity to start their own slum shop. A starting budget of € 600 is enough to start a shop in the slums and to make a real difference to young entrepreneurs. For the local people to receive ownership of the complete venture 50% of the investment has to be repaid within two years. 1We will re-invest the repayments towards the start up of more mini enterprises with the same concept. 

Target
The target of the 1We Slum Shops is threefold:
• Stimulating entrepreneurship amongst the most talented youngsters so that the entire family can be supported in one transaction.
• By creating job opportunities (resulting in a sustainable and steady income) education for the family could be guaranteed.
• Creating awareness amongst European entrepreneurs and to stimulate them to support their ‘own’ shop in the slums.

By connecting an entrepreneur from the developed world as a sponsor to a young entrepreneur from the Third World mutual respect and responsibility will grow. On top of that the new generation in development countries will be stimulated to create their own opportunities and to be responsible for their own future.

For companies and event agencies 1We - One World Experience created the 1We Social Events. Imagine: a huge dance event with international DJ’s who by means of a big screen communicate musically with DJ’s from Africa.

Or: an event for your customers with an auction of world art from development countries. And how about a company event on which your team creates a gigantic piece of art together with graffiti artists from Rio de Janeiro? The world is changing. Because of marching globalization the world has become smaller. At the same time more and more people are aware of the fact that we together form one big melting pot of cultures on the same planet. This situation is screaming for a new approach; of the market which is bigger and more intercultural than ever and of the consumer who is more critical and aware than ever before.

Given by top trainers who through personal involvement participate in a platform of differently thinking trainers and coaches under the flag of 1We - One World Experience, the new style development organization which connects cultures by creating renewed platforms.

Top trainers
Under the motto ‘Change the world, starting with yourself’ the 1We Academy has committed six top trainers scheduled this autumn. They will introduce you to new insights in the frame of personal development with which you are able to act in another way than you are used to.

The general theme in the range of ‘Experience Workshops’ is the balance between realism and idealism from an intercultural point of view. An organization which is purely focussed on making profit is soulless. This spirit is the essence of what makes a company which makes the difference. Two years ago we didn’t exist. A year ago hardly anyone had heard about us. Now 1We - One World Experience broadcasts on international television with positive TV programs. Furthermore as a new style development organization we realize projects to help people in development countries to develop their talents. Powerful, innovative ideas and the support of the business industry make sure that talent is going to shine! This is the golden formula of 1We, which makes the whole difference…

The strong belief to make the difference for a better world by strengthening conjugation with businesses was in 2006 the reason to start 1We. The expanding process of globalization asks for global marketing, cooperation and for a renewed approach to development cooperation which is created within the 1We-concept. “Now it is the time to build something really huge by joining hands”, says CEO Robbert Frank Hagens. “New entrepreneurship is the concept under which the contribution of entrepreneurs to a more positive world is shaped.”

Marketing tool
In the last two years already 140 companies have committed to 1We. This is not only because of their own development but also because of the impact for their company in terms of a marketing tool and for the teambuilding of their employees.

Hagens: “We are very proud to present this site as a unique tool for companies which want to be socially involved. On this site you are able to network and make new business contacts. It is also unique that within this concept entrepreneurs are asked to contribute and think about making the world a better place for everyone.”

Also according to Fazila Sciberras, Director of International Contacts for 1We, ‘The Chain’ will show the unicity of 1We’s concept. “A lot of companies all over the world want to make a contribution. The target of the project is three fold:
