Furthermore as a new style development organization we realize projects to help people in development countries to develop their talents. The strong belief to make the difference for a better world by strengthening conjugation with businesses was in 2006 the reason to start 1We. The expanding process of globalization asks for global marketing, cooperation and for a renewed approach to development cooperation which is created within the 1We-concept. “Now it is the time to build something really huge by joining hands”, says CEO Robbert Frank Hagens. “New entrepreneurship is the concept under which the contribution of entrepreneurs to a more positive world is shaped.”

Marketing tool
In the last two years already 140 companies have committed to 1We. This is not only because of their own development but also because of the impact for their company in terms of a marketing tool and for the teambuilding of their employees.

To carry out their involvement towards 1We this brand new website ‘The Chain’ has been launched. Hagens: “We are very proud to present this site as a unique tool for companies which want to be socially involved. On this site you are able to network and make new business contacts. Moreover you can participate in the most surprising and renewed activities of 1We. It is the first time that media, businesses and development cooperation are added together in one organization. It is also unique that within this concept entrepreneurs are asked to contribute and think about making the world a better place for everyone.”

Also according to Fazila Sciberras, Director of International Contacts for 1We, ‘The Chain’ will show the unicity of 1We’s concept. “A lot of companies all over the world want to make a contribution.
