Music connects cultures worldwide
Artists supporting 1We’ offers an international platform to every artist who wants to contribute to a more positive world. This is possible in two ways:
• By ceding the rights of a song which has not yet been published.
• By writing a new song especially for 1We - One World Experience.
TV program
The rights of the music go to 1We. With the profit of the songs musicians in development countries will be supported. This will be connected to the TV program ‘Artists supporting 1We’ in which this musicians and the musicians behind 1We with their story and music are featured. By this both groups can expect a very positive exposure. With a small contribution, artists can make a large difference in the lives of people in marginalized regions.
Several artists c.q. bands have already put a world hit to the disposal of 1We. Amongst them: Rich Wyman (1We Ambassador, USA), Crossover (Bangladesh), Ruby Indians and Niclas (The Netherlands).
For singer-song writer Rich Wyman music is the way to express his feelings about the world. As an Ambassador for ‘Artists supporting 1We’ he is convinced that music can change the world because it is a universal language. "What 1We creates with this platform is great! It is a good way of making people here aware and helping people over there. What can be more beautiful for an artist like me than to do my thing and at the same time inspire people?”
Inspiring people
The formation Ruby Indians (The Netherlands) feels also that inspiring people is the most important reason to cede the song ‘Tears’ to 1We. It is a world hit about children of the streets of Rio and the contrast between rich and poor. Singer Jan Zwiers: “I’m a boy of the street myself; not poor or homeless, nevertheless damaged. That’s why I feel related to these kids. With 1We the song finally got there where it belongs.”
To roll out ‘Artists supporting 1We’ internationally € 19,000 is needed. Companies and organizations can participate by:
• Investing financial means to create the necessary ICT.
• Investing financial means to position the site through diverse marketing tools.
